Police Raid Gay Bar on the Eve of Gay Day
July 4, 2001: Baguio City Police decided they would
end Gay Pride Month in a way to be remembered.
They raided the Coco Banana, a new Gay Bar in the city. Police said the raid was in response to a tip that lewd shows were being performed. Although they did
not witness the show, but, still arrested twenty-three
dancers. They were dancing permitless or dancing

Belgrade Gay-Rights Marchers Attacked Beat:
July 1, 2001 Gay-Rights Supporters gathered to march, bands of Serbian-national thugs encircled the marchers and then savagely attacked them. Beat the gay-rights  marchers with clubs, kicking them and police they tried to stop the brutal attack. Attempting to prevent, what is thought the first ever gay rights march, was what one of the attackers told local B-92 radio,"We are here to pervent immorality in Serbia" and "Serbia is not a Gay Country".With dozens injured and including six police officers. , but, they did not deny the claims they were still discussing ways groups, ie:Salvation Army, can continue to discriminate, and still receive millions of dolars in federal aid. No deal to discrininate, and the Salvation Army's request was rejected, to protect their anti-gay hiring policy.

researchers are in final stages of testing gp-120 vaccine , as it isknown, have great hope it may

After an emotional speech by Sen. Ken Hollis, about how he learned his son. He spoke of the lessons he had learned from his son and his son's friends.The panel voted 3~2 Sen. Hollis cast the key vote to let the Senate debate prohibiting employment discrimination based on sexual orientation. The commttee room was packed when Sen. Hollis spoke of his son fears of being found out to be gay. He also spoke of two of his sons friends, one had been beaten
up by his father, the other thrown out of the house. Spoke of experiences his son endured. Of the fears Mike had about treatment he would receive if others discovered his secert, his employer his greatest concern. He cast the key vote that sent the bill Senate for debate. and vote. However, his plea fell on deaf ears, vote 21~14, the bill was defeated.
May 11th. 2001:  Roanoke Virginia;
The Backstreet Cafe Butcher Ronald Gay has Pleads Guilty
to First Degree Murder and to Malicious Wounding, He killed  Danny Lee Overstreet, and the wounding of six other patrons. The Roanoke 7,  press release, in responce to Gay's guilty plea. Roanoke Times article on guilty plea, could receive a 95 years in prison. This is the only decent thing to come out of this horrific hate crime. Perhaps now their healing may really start. It is a Godsend the trail will not take place. We have to believe all the prayes for the victims and their families, were answered. discriminate against Gays~Lesbians.Spokeperson for Pres. Bush denied Washington Post report he cut a deal. But, it appeared in every new service. Now public,

, but, they did not deny the claims they were still discussing ways groups, ie:Salvation Army, can continue to discriminate, and still receive millions of dolars in federal aid. No deal to discrininate, and the Salvation Army's request was rejected, to protect their anti-gay hiring policy.

June 4, 2001: Deciding to drop the Resolution after a recommendation by the Gay & Lesbian Caucus.Instead they will form a task force to better explore the issue in a holistic reasoned way. Belgrade Gay-Rights Marchers Attacked Beat:
July 1, 2001 Gay-Rights Supporters gathered to march, bands of Serbian-national thugs encircled the marchers and then savagely attacked them. Beat the gay-rights  marchers with clubs, kicking them and police they tried to stop the brutal attack. Attempting to prevent, what is thought the first ever gay rights march, was what one of the attackers told local B-92 radio,"We are here to pervent immorality in Serbia" and "Serbia is not a Gay Country".With dozens injured and including six police officers. Police Raid Gay Bar on the Eve of Gay Day
July 4, 2001: Baguio City Police decided they would
end Gay Pride Month in a way to be remembered.
They raided the Coco Banana, a new Gay Bar in the city. Police said the raid was in response to a tip that lewd shows were being performed. Although they did
not witness the show, but, still arrested twenty-three
dancers. They were dancing permitless or dancing
