Gabi Clayton ~ Bill's Story~Portrait of a Son's Gabi has taken a great loss, her son Bill's suicide, and dedicated herself to educationg others so they may be spared the pain such a loss brings with it. Her tribute to Bill is not only moving, it serves as a wake up call to the effects of homophobia. ~ Roanoke 7 ~ Created after the worst mass victim hate in gay history took place. An animal walked in and opened fire inside the Backstreet Cafe in Roanoke, VA, he killed one man, Danny Overstreet and injuried six others. The website is a tribute to Danny and the Victims, offers witness acounts, updates on court proceedings.They have gone further by creating a place for all members of the community to meet and learn about each other. To encourage a better understanding of the distinct differences each have and to be much more accepting of the members of their community. They should be commended for efforts to bring their community closer together. |

~ Douglas Mack Homepage ~ For your Spiritual needs, visit Douglas's Homepage. His site promotes pride in being gay and offers spiritual the support one may need. He lists prayers you may recite. If you have a special prayer request you can share it with him and he will include you in his prayers. He share some personal items about himself, including pictures, heis VW Bettle, Travels and even his tattoos, I have not yet checked out. LOL. It is an uplifting site and worth taking a visit to. |

Showing them they are not alone is of great comfort to many struggling with their being gay.I nstills pride in them while building their self worth. ~ Rob Rosen Homepage ~ Rob Rosen's website is about his life and expresses he is proud to be a gay man and of course, his gay pride. Rob is also a Gay Author, who penned a book titled, "Sparkle ~ The Queerest Book You'll Ever Love". I have yet to read Rob's, (Sorry Rob, but, my activism keeps me plenty busy and broke.), but, have checked out the reviews and they have been excellent, Rainbow Network gave Sparkle, Four Rainbows and Books A Million has rated Sparkle @ Five Stars. We wish Rob good luck with the sequel. I hope his book is made into a movie, I should be able to find a fews hours to see it and if movie prices don't get much higher, afford a ticket. LOL |
