"DontAmend Tampa Bay's Valentines Day of Action Rally"
Took place on Saturday, February 14, 2004 at at Lowery Park, and coincided with rallies held in two dozen cities across the nation. The purpose of the rally was to celebrate same-sex couples relationships, to show support for marriage equality for same-sex couples and opposition to the anti-gay and discriminatory Federal Marriage Amendment.

National organizations The Equality Project, DontAmend.com and Metropolitan Community Churches, largest predominantly gay and lesbian church group, joined hands with a network of civil rights groups including Marriage Equality and National Freedom to Marry Coalition.
