Sample messages to accompany note dropped in to the

Salvation Army kettles. Please, be polite, but stern in you

refussal to support those with employee polices that are

discriminatry to gay, lesbian and unmarried partners of

their employees.

I would have been more than happy to donate $ 10.00 or more to the

Salvation Army, as I have in the past. Due discrimination against your

gay and lesbian employees. I will not now or in future make donations 

to the Salvation Army until your rescind such discriminatory policies.

Because I strongly oppose discrimination against all people. I can not in

good faith, support employers who allow discrimination of their gay and

lesbian employees. I would ask that the Salvation Army discontinue their

discriminatory policies. To establish polices of equality for all employees

of the Salvation Army would be the right and fair thing to do.
