Appeal Begins For 16 Year Old  Gay Egyptian Teen.
Nov 21: A 16 year old gay Egyptian was convicted of "debauchery"
and "crimes against Islam", on September 18th. Although Egypt's
State Security Court does not allow an appeal on sentences, an
appeal was granted only because of the teen's age. The boy found
guilty after he signed a police confession and sentenced to three
years' imprisonment with labor followed by three years of probation.
It has been alleged the confession was coerced by prison guards
who has tortured the boy, which included the use of cattle prods.
