I am taking the time to write you personally,
requesting your support for the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, ENDA. This
is, in my opinion, is one of, if not the most important pieces of legislation to
come before you. Of all votes made in years past, this one vote will be the
deciding factor as to the faith and support, I will have for the
legislators who represent me. I say this, only to impress upon you, the utmost
importance I place
equality for all employees in the workplace.
I have searched the legislative records on ENDA,
and did not see your name listed as a co-sponsor. Which
is some what of a concern, that is, only if your
not in support of equality for all employees in the workplace. I
would very
much appreciate your supporting ENDA and in your voting in favor of ENDA's
passage. I would also, appreciate your sharing with me, your opinion and how you
stand on ENDA. Your past record leads me
to believe, that you would support
equality for all employees in the workplace. But, would like to know exactly
where your stand, in support of or opposed to ENDA. So I will know whether I
need to continue to work on convincing you of how very important ENDA is to me.
Of course, if you support ENDA, than I can move on to one who opposes the Act.
