The Annual Florida Progressive Summit has been set for
June 9th 2002 in Tampa.
Don't miss this opportunity to
exchange information, share resources and build the strength and effectiveness
of Florida's Progressive community...particularly in this important election
year!
The Progressive Coalition Summit provides a rare opportunity
for grassroots organizations to benefit from each others expertise, share
resources and assist each other to be more effective locally and statewide.
From educating the community to mobilizing voters, we have much to do to
prepare for the upcoming election and beyond.
If you are interested in
helping with planning, please send an email volunteering for the Summit Planning
committee. If you are unable to serve on the planning committee, we hope
you will take a few moments to send in ideas and suggestions to make the most of
the meeting.
Last year we saved time and money by arranging our meeting
to coincide with the Florida Women's Consortium. This year we'd like to thank
the Humanists of Florida Association. The group has agreed to help with
logistics by providing meeting space in conjunction with their
annual conference on the campus of USF .

materials asap.
We look forward to working with you to build an effective
statewide Progressive Coalition and creating a state that values the lives,
liberty and equality of all its citizens.
