TAKE ACTION & HELP!
On behalf of Marcus'
family, I was asked to convey sincere thanks for all of your support through the
past grueling months and yes, years. We have vowed not to rest until
justice is properly served and will continue to fight with your
help.
Previously, we requested you to write letters to the editor of the local
paper and others. If you have done so, please let us know. If not,
please reconsider the impact and tragedy this has on all youth and put pen to
paper. On a side note, the local paper in Minersville ran one small
piece on our story buried and taken directly from the Associated Press
release!
Our first move towards justice is
now to demand that the United
States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania undertake the criminal
prosecution of Willinsky and demand that his office undertake the prosecution on
federal criminal charges and a civil action for "Conspiracy to Deprive of Civil
Rights" under title 42 of the United States Code. This will absolutely NOT
happen without an outcry of public pressure. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP
NOW!!!
You
many contact the US Attorney at United States Attorney for the Eastern District
of Pennsylvania (Patrick L. Meehan, 615 Chestnut Street, Suite 1250,
Philadelphia, PA 19106) or call (215-861-8200) or fax
(215-861-8609).
On
one other note, we are seriously lacking any financial resources to continue
this battle. If you can contribute any amount to the campaign to support
our efforts, it would be deeply grateful. We have a long battle ahead of
us against offices with deep pockets. Unfortunately, to date, the campaign
has received 3 donations all under $100.
The rest has been funded solely by me. ANY gift is
appreciated and fully tax-deductible.
Please
take action now. Pass it on. Look at our action page on the
website for other ways to help and don't give up. Remember, we are the
voice for the voiceless.
Again, thank you so much for everything you continue to do. Our work is cut out for us and I hope
you will continue to spread the word and support our
efforts.
In peace,
Kyle
