Exxon Prevails, Re-instatement of
Mobil's Pre-Merger Policy & Benefits
Proposal Fails.
Exxon Mobil Corp. Shareholder's
Proposal to re-instate Mobil's Domestic Partners
Benefits and Policy Banning Discrimination Based on
Sexual Orientation was voted down. Receiving only
13% of shareholders votes in favor of the
proposal. The proposal did receive sufficient votes to allow for re-submission next year. But, why do nothing
till next years vote.
Call to Action~Boycott ExxonMobil
Corp.
Tampa Bay Coalition is asking for a
Boycott of all products and services of ExxonMobil Corp.
be instituted. Come the next annual shareholders meeting
and vote. Perhaps, ExxonMobil Corp. will see
that Equality in the Work Place is of the
utmost importance to all Americans. Companies without Policies of Equality for all their employees, will not
be supported with our hard earned
dollars.
Your Efforts Convinced Home
Depot.
With your recent efforts in
contacting Home Depot and by their reversing their
stance against adding sexual orientation to their equal
opportunity employment policy. Yours and the scores and
scores of others voices were heard loud and clear. Home
Depot realized what Exxon Mobil Corp. seems to be
ignoring, this is not just a Gay Issue. It is an issue that all Americans are concerned with.
It's Time to Convince Exxon Mobil
Corp.
Exxon Mobil Corp. has continued to
dismiss and ignore the pleas of shareholders, 24 members
of Congress, pro-rights in employment groups, gay rights
organizations and the gay communities across the country. By Boycotting Exxon Mobil
Corp. and supporting only those companies with
policies of equality for all employees in the
workplace. Our message will be
heard by all companies who have yet to implement equal
employment opportunity policy. Exxon Mobil Corp will
learn their financial penances for stripping Mobil's pre-merger policy barring discrimination based on ones
sexual orientation and domestic partners benefits. Their
refusal to answer the pleas for Mobil's pre-merger
benefits and policy to be
re-instated.
