Virginia's Republican Anti-Gay Hate Campaign
NOTE: Both Katzen & Earley Lost Big Time

Tampa Bay Coalition Dis-Honors, Virginia Republican Candidate for
Lieutenant Governor, Jay Katzen with the "What an Ignoramus Award"
The Republicans have launched a vicious and fierce advertising campaign attempting to portray Virginia
Democratic candidates as champions of gay rights and gay marriage. In their campaign, it is clear they
have no qualms about inciting hatred of gays if it advances their efforts against Democrats. VA candidate:
Homosexuality is "a choice" that results in AIDS. Advocate. For Kataen's utterly rediculous, hateful and
blatantly ignorant remarks and statements made regarding homosexuality to the news media. With such
statements quoted in the news media as: "AIDS is the result of people choosing to be homosexuals,"
and "AIDS is the product, sadly, in most cases of a choice that people have made and we recognize that
homosexuality is a choice. It's a lifestyle with public health consequences."

The Republicans Gay Hate=Votes Campaign Intenseifies
Sept.10: As usual, the GOP slings their mud like only they can, distorting the records of their Democratic rivils
and working overtime at inciting gay hatred. They are always using the word liberal as though it so evil and
condemn anyone who is. I certainly think that the words Hate Mongers, Bigots and Hypocrites are much more
evil than liberal. Republicans should spend more time reading, less time thumping and waving the Bible. Perhaps
then they would learn what is truly evil. I am the most outraged at their filtly politics, than ever before. And to see
people cheer and agree with their tatics, it is just so distressing, I want to scream. OK, with that said again, here
are some additional articles and informational links on campaign of hate for votes. Please, if you feel even half as
outraged as I, there are email addresses listed in these posts. Don't let this campaign of hate go unchalanged,
give em hell.

Republicans Taunting, Gay Baiting and Playing the Gay gate Card in Ads.
September 7: The Republicans cease to amaze me as to just how low they will stoop in the pursuit of their agenda.
They speak of the high moral values they believe in and they tcare about doing what's right for the people and the
country. Yet, remain blatantly committed to the premise of, what ever it takes, who ever it hurts, who ever may suffer,
truth be damed, their agenda must succeed. Should the will of the people, clearly oppose the direction they wish our
country to go. They will turn a deaf ear to our voices and dismiss our will. Their constant retort, we know what's best
and do what ever the hell they want. Experts at the three "D's", deception, deceit and distortion in the pursuit of
perpetuating the Republican will and control of our government. This tiade is because of the Republicans ant-gay
attacks in Virginia and playing the gay hate card. They are attempting to incite hatred of gays and create a hostle
enviorment in the minds of the voters in Virginia of gays. By succeeding at this, their ad campaign of portraying
Democratic candidates as extremist liberals, who are pro-gay, supporters of gay rights and unions/marriages, will
cost Democrats votes. Their catch phrase or slogan, Republicans support "Virginia Values" not "Vermont Values"
shows they feel playing the gay hate card will work in their favor. I believe the voters of Virginia are not going to base
their votes on hate. I hope this attempt to win an election by inciting hatred by the Republicans, blows up in their faces
and will come back to haunt them. This is a despicable display of politics at it's dirtiest. This campaign of hatred for
votes is a disgrace. Read article posted by The Washington Blade Online and you will understand my ranting on.
There are web site links and email addresses also posted should you wish to share your outrage at this Hate for
Votes Campaign by the GOP. I sent my rant to them and notified Jay "Hate Monger" Katzen that he was the
recipient of TBC's Ignoramous Award. No responces received as of yet.
