Brad Matthew Fuglei, 19, was very well liked and actively involved in organizing gay rights rallies at his high school. Brad died November 16, 2001 in an apparent suicide. This young gay activist was senior class president, homecoming king, a member of the National Honor Society, well respected and admired for accomplishments. What made him a role model for other gay youth, also made him a target of Hate Monger Phelps and his Hate Mongerette's. Yet, as it is with most of Phelps claims, he was to lead 20 or so protesters and create Hate Havoc on Omaha. But, the protest was a bust, he was a no show, less than a dozen hate mongerette's, half were small children and were greeted by 100 or so counter protesters. Lambda Legal Defence and Education Fund, immediately filed a formal complaint claiming the Judge could not be an impartial. The Alabama Judicial Inquiry Commission dismissed complaint saying they, ''found no reasonable basis to charge a violation of the Alabama Canons of Judicial Ethics.'' The "Dish an Dirt" on the Religious Right O.K., Here is were I get down to dealing with those pulling that, "Do as I Say, Not as I do Krap". I get so ticked about this and now it's my turn to find them and out them. For instance, the City Tampa and Hillsborough County Councils adopted a Human Rights Ordinance including Sexual Orientation. The battle to repeal the ordinance began seconds after the vote. Our biggest and loudest foe was the Monsingor at Christ of Kings Catholic Church. He bullied all the members of my parish to support repealling . Well, who was spotted soliciting SEX from a young male hustler standing on a street corner. Yes, It was the Good Monsignor, Yes, the young hustler turned out to be an undercover police officer and Yes, the Good Monsignor gets popped, AKA arrested. |
